Chiru Kai is a Miqo'te girl hailing from a small island a couple dozen malms to the west of Limsa Lominsa.Along with her childhood friend Zie Voldune, she has recently come to Limsa Lominsa, and her story has only just begun as she journeys into the greater realm of Eorzea.

Backstory
Chiru Kai hails from a small island, a couple dozen malms to the west of Limsa Lominsa.The island has no officially recognized name, as it is just another island of the Vylbrand archipelago. Although the two Miqo'te tribes that inhabit it call it "Raahnga". The two tribes share the island with a tribe of Hrothgar.
These three peoples live in relative harmony, although the two Miqo'te tribes clash at times over breeding rights while the Hrothgar just live their lives as traders and, in a way, providers and mediators for the Miqo'te tribes.The two Miqo'te tribes are offspring tribes from the Hipparion (K') tribe. One tribe using Ka and the other using Ki as their naming prefix.About 27 years ago, Ki'kai Tia met a girl from the other tribe: Ka'hon Koo
They fell in love. Eventually, Ka'hon became pregnant. The tribes excommunicated them for violating the breeding rights, and they were never welcome again in either tribe. Accepting their fate, Ki'kai and Ka'hon were taken in by the Hrothgar, and eventually managed to buy a house just outside the Hrothgar town of Maloxol, the largest port town on the island.
Together they birthed a daughter, and named her: Chiru Kai. No tribe, and only the last name from her father.As she grew up, she was often seen with Zie Voldune, a Hrothgar from Maloxol. Chiru considers him an older brother. He is a couple years older, and always looking out for Chiru, especially to defend her from people of the miqo'te tribes who visited the town from time to time. They generally either ignored or sneered at the "Tribeless Kitten". She could handle it, but Zie would -gladly - step in to intimidate anyone harassing her.Throughout her life, she often watched from a nearby cliff outside of Maloxol, looking at the merchant ships coming in and out of the Maloxol docks, and if she were in the town she would take every opportunity to talk to them on the piers and hear stories of the world beyond this single island. She dreamt of going out there someday to see it all with her own two eyes. She never felt welcome on the island. Not a Hrothgar herself... and not welcome among the tribes either. She voiced this desire regularly to Zie, who just nodded in silent approval most of the time. But Chiru never had the courage, or the willpower to see it through.When she turned 27, conflict broke out between the Ki and Ka tribes as a Nunh (breeding male) had died unexpectedly, and his position was to be taken over by a Tia. Issues arose when a Tia from the other tribe claimed the position, with a noble goal to unify the two tribes. But, of course, such a thing will also only spark the fires of tribal war. During the conflict, Ka'hon's brother, the Tia who wanted to unify the two tribes, would be severely wounded and fled to Ka'hon and Ki'kai's house while being chased by the Ki tribe.
Chiru was ushered into her room and her door locked by her father as he and Ka'hon tended to her wounded uncle.
Chiru heard yelling. The Ki tribe stood in front of the house, fully armed, and demanded to have Ka'hon's brother, which was refused by Chiru's parents. Minutes of yelling and arguing. Then a struggle broke out.
... and then silence.After an hour, Chiru's curiosity to know what happened won over her fear... and she climbed back down through the window. There saw the bodies of her parents and her uncle, laying on the floor.
She collapsed on the floor, her eyes wide and tearing up, and sat there, in shock, for a full night. Until the next day when Zie Voldune came by for an unexpected visit and found the aftermath.He took Chiru home, and cared for her while she was just in a daze. She could barely remember those days, just the feeling of having lost everything.While for Chiru it was a life altering moment... it was just another tragedy of the bigger tribal war. And so while it may have been the talk of the day... it was just as easily forgotten.After months of living with Zie's family and coming to terms with what happened, she finally decided to go out there, as there was nothing left for her here.
She would take a boat to Limsa, and become an adventurer. She mentioned it to Zie, who once again nodded in silent approval. He would join her.----------....To Be Continued....
Personality
Before Chiru came to Limsa, and while she grew up, she has always been somewhat quiet and reserved. Not shy, just cold and uninterested in others, as in her experience, others would always mock her, treat her differently.However, after coming to Limsa she fell in love with the city, and became a friendly and social miqo'te.She's flirty, sarcastic with a lot of innuendo, and very happy to meet people. So if you see her around Limsa, don't hesitate to approach her and make a little chat!Chiru is always honest in what she says. The only thing is that she often knows much more than she lets on, and is careful with her words so as to never lie.She is also always very direct, but tries to keep it polite, not always succeeding. This may or may not have caused problems in the past. As she says: "I'm responsible for what I say, not for what you hear"As for sexuality and relationships... like a lot of miqo'te, Chiru is bisexual and used to have several open relationships, until she met Lola.Chiru was happily married to Lola Stormbreaker since 10/09/21
Unfortunately, they split somewhere in early July 2023.
Chiru then found a new girlfriend in Gabbi, another cute limsa resident. They married but eventually split off after a couple months as well.Since then, she's been freely engaging in open relationships, meeting new amazing people. Not particularly locked down (yet), but she's also not into one-time flings either.

I also make mostly-seamless looping gifs of certain custom animations. Since these are more work compared to a pose they will cost 1 million gil per pose.
